“påstranden” moves within a field of tension between beauty and unease. The bodies of the hares, framed by the shoreline and shaped by the wind, appear like frozen fragments of an interrupted narrative. The beach, typically a place of ease and recreation, becomes a silent stage for an unseen tragedy.

The series invites reflection on responsibility, human intervention in ecosystems, and the everyday invisibility of death in nature. At the same time, the images unfold a quiet, unsettling poetry: the randomness of the poses, the traces of time, the slow return of the bodies to the natural cycle of the shore. “påstranden” thus becomes a meditation on impermanence, vulnerability, and the world’s silent continuation after death.
